Description

Viticulture

The vines are grown on gravel soils that lie on clay-calcareous subsoils, containing sand and clay in some areas. The vineyards, whose age ranges from 20 to 55 years, have a southern exposure. Harvesting takes place from mid-September to early October.

Vinification

The fermentation process takes place in steel tanks for 2-3 weeks.

Wine aging

Upon completion of fermentation, the wine is aged for 20 months in oak barriques (60% - new). Every 3 months the wine is removed from the sediment.

Tasting notes

The wine has a dark ruby color with purple highlights. The wine has a luxurious, rich taste with fruity and floral tones, well-structured tannins, balanced acidity and a fresh finish. The wine shows a delightful aroma, woven from notes of ripe fruit and subtle floral tones.
