Cabernet Sauvignon grows on sandy gravel soils, while Merlot grows on clay soils. The average age of the vines is 335 years.
The hand-picked grapes are sorted and destemmed, after which they undergo traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
The wine is aged for 18-24 months in oak barrels, of which 40% are renewed annually.
The attractive aroma of wine presents notes of blackberries, blueberries, tobacco, light floral tones and subtle marine nuances. The taste of the wine offers rich but subtle tannins, concentration, strength and density, harmony and complexity. A large number of notes of juicy black fruit and hints of resin and graphite move towards a persistent aftertaste.
