Description

Viticulture

Château-Figeac owes its distinctive character to the unique combination of Gunzian gravel outcrops and clay subsoil, several microclimates and the mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot planted in the vineyard. Harvest date from September 28th to October 13th.

Vinification

Grapes harvested by hand, traditional and intra-plot vinification using a gravity-feed process, sustainable viticulture.

Wine aging

100% in new oak barrels, 15 to 18 months.

Tasting notes

Deep in color, with a charming and a delicate bouquet of beautiful tobacco flavors, subtle notes of undergrowth mixed with aromas of tea leaves, licorice.
