24 months in 225 and 500 litre barrels of new and used French and American oak
A cool, wet vintage. The rains accompanied a calm vegetative cy- cle until bud break, which was rapid and complete thanks to the increase in temperatures. At the end of June, with stable weather, there was impeccable flowering with a high fruit set, which led to a harvest with good yields. September and October, dry and warm, provided a generous harvest, with juicy berries, which lasted from 12 September to 8 October.
Mineral on the nose with a profusion of black fruit and slightly spicy notes. Full, fleshy, almost an emulsion of crunchy tannins on the palate. It marks a level of finesse under a solid frame.
