The 2023 season started with an early budding, 5 days ahead of average. Thermal declines in subsequent stages led to a loss of the initial phenological advance, resulting in a 2-day delayed fowering. Good water availability and thermal trends allowed for an early veraison. July’s weather interfered with veraison progression; the ripening in its early stage was very slow necessitating a 5-day harvest delay as to achieve better levels of grape quality kicking-off the harvest in the frst decade of September. With an early start and late fnish, the season lasted 164 days, nine days longer than historical records.
Straw yellow colour, brilliant. On the nose it is intensely fruity and full, velvety and elegant in the mouth
