Viticulture
The grapes for this cuvée come from our southwest facing plot at a named area called Terrain Rouge, where the top soil is limestone clay and the subsoil is made up of altered schistose; giving us one of the best terroirs for Chardonnay in the Beaujolais region.
Vinification
Direct pressing Low temperature vinification (50-57°F/10-14°C) for 20 days 50% matured in old oak barrels Stirring up of fine lees to prevent oxidation
