Viticulture
We were captivated by the production and preparation of the Syrah grape variety, but also delighted by various earlier tastings. So, in 2012, we decided to plant one plot of Syrah vines so as to craft our own wine and extend our range.
Vinification
Manual harvest - Whole bunch Grape de-stemmed Carbonic maceration in low temperature Maturing on fine lees for 12 months in 500L barrels Bottling under CO2
Tasting notes
Eye: Dense dark red with bluish tints Nose: Sensual, spicy, notes of violet Palate: Silky tannins, good acidity, aromatic complexity, redcurrant, blueberry, pepper and liquorice flavours, great length
