Description

Viticulture

Highly altered soil-granites. Area-1.5 ha. Density-10,000 vines/ha. Age of the vines-over 70 years.

Vinification

Total destemming. Pre-fermentation maceration at cold. Fermentation up to 30°C. Post-fermentation maceration at 30°C. FML in barrels.

Wine aging

18 months in barrels of oak (30% new).

Tasting notes

Wine of deep purple-garnet color. The taste of the wine is very fresh, concentrated, well structured, with bright fruit and berry tones, harmonious acidity, tight tannins and a long, dry, spicy aftertaste with a light woody note. The elegant aroma of wine is filled with hints of black fruit, ripe blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by subtle spicy nuances, hints of violet, lavender and sage.
