Clay-limestone. Three climates make up this cuvée: "Les Vireuils du Dessus", South-East exposure and very calcareous soil; "Limozin", under the Meursault Charmes; and "Les Grands Charrons", rocky and hot place, southern exposure. Average age - 45 years, 10,000 vines/ha. Yield - 38 hl/ha.
Pressing in whole grapes with a light settling followed by an immediate setting in part. Alcoholic fermentation with native and malolactic yeasts in pieces.
Wine storage potential is 5-10 years.
The wine is straw-yellow in color with golden and greenish reflections. The taste of wine rich, elegant, but very dynamic, energetic and spicy, with refreshing acidity, soft texture and endless, persistent aftertaste. The attractive aroma of wine is filled with hints of yellow plum, peach, citrus fruits, butter, notes of vanilla, honey, iodine and minerals.
