The Medoc is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Gironde estuary to the east. This situation gives it an ideally temperate climate. The Médoc enjoys a unique terroir where the know-how of men has enabled traditional grape varieties to express all their quality, marked by elegance and subtlety. It is also a predominantly gravel or clayey limestone soil that is particularly suitable for high quality grapes.
Fermentation occurs in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
Ageing starts after the malolactic fermentation, and takes place in concrete vats.
To the eye : Red color, limpid and brilliant. To the nose : Clean from the first nose, intense and well balanced between woody, toasted and slightly vanilla and fruity notes, both red fruit (raspberry, redcurrant) and blue fruit (plum, blueberry) notes. Slightly spicy notes also emerge from this complex bouquet of fresh fruit. To the palate : The palate is round, very fruity, supported by a melted, silky tannic structure. It is a wine of indulgence with a smooth finish.
