7 Ha planted to Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot Limestone/clay soil. North- South sloping overlooking Gironde River. Conversion to organic farming in 2019. Cert Agriculture Biologique in 2022 (Ecocert)
Fermentations (Organic method) by grape variety in concrete vats. After pressings Petit Verdot put to French Oak.
Medium toasted barrels (not new), are preferred so as not to overpower the fruit. Aging in barrels is 12-14 months. The wine in concrete vats is held until blending and the Prestige will emerge when the Petit Verdot is ready.
Good year, enabling full ripening of grapes
Notes of cherry, blueberries and undergrowth, subtle hints of brioche and spices. The palate is fresh and balanced with tasty and quite tense tannins
