Vineyards with an area of 49 hectares are located on a small hill. The soil here is a deep layer of gravel interspersed with large rounded pebbles. Average age of vines-40 years. Planting density-10 thousand vines/ha.
The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by complete destemming, fermentation in steel tanks using remontage and malolactic fermentation.
The wine is aged for 18 months in French barriques, more than 50% of which are new. Before bottling, clarification is done with egg white.
Storage potential-30 years.
The wine is purple-black in color. Full-bodied, rich, soft and velvety taste of wine envelops with dense, silky tannins and generous tones of black fruits, blueberry jam, baked plums, continuing in a long aftertaste along with notes of spices, chocolate and mocha. Bright, expressive, multi-layered aroma of wine shows fragrant nuances of violet, blueberry, blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, framed by hints of cedar and exotic spices.
