Château Potensac CHATEAU POTENSAC Cru Bourgeois Red 2016 Médoc

Red

Description

Viticulture

The vineyards of Chateau Potensac are located on clay-pebble soils.

Vinification

Fermentation and maceration of wine are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28 ° C for 18 days.

Wine aging

14 months aged in oak barrels, half of which are renewed annually, due to which the wine "breathes" better and acquires a more rounded taste.

Tasting notes

Wine of deep garnet-violet color. The taste of the wine is rich, with an excellent concentration of elegant texture, tones of red and black fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry, hints of tobacco, graphite, earth, chocolate, great freshness, smooth tannins and a long aftertaste. Smooth aroma of wine reveals notes of cedar and fresh red flowers, ripe red berries and blackcurrant, mulberry, coal smoke, Sichuan pepper, chocolate and cool stones.
