In its manufacture, manual harvesting and double selection of grapes are used, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.
The wine is aged for 18 months in barriques, 70% of which are renewed annually. About 19,000 cases of wine are produced annually. Before drinking, "Chateau Montrose" is recommended to be decanted.
Wine storage capacity is about 35 years.
The wine has a bright ruby color. This is a dense wine with a rich, rich taste, which reveals hints of blackcurrant, ripe plums, cherries, cocoa, tobacco, licorice, mint, minerals and prunes. The wine has a long aftertaste. Aroma juicy, rich aroma of wine plays with nuances of licorice, coffee, blackberry, plum, minerals, oak, spices and chocolate.
