The vines grow on slopes, on shallow limestone soils with fairly high marl content and good drainage. The average age of the vines is 60 years.
Pressing is followed by cold maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks with daily pizhage and remontage.
Excerpt wine takes place in oak barrels, about 30% of which are new, and takes 15-18 months. The wine is bottled without fining and filtration.
Storage potential: 15-20 years.
The wine has an intense ruby color. It has a very attractive, incredibly fresh and juicy taste with an interesting combination of notes of earth, wild herbs and dark red fruits. The aftertaste is strong, excellent length. The expressive aroma of the wine reveals tones of red fruits, as well as soft shades of earth, flowers and undergrowth.
