Vinification

After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and pressed, and then placed in a special double fermentation tank, fermentation takes place in the upper part, and malolactic fermentation takes place in the lower part, while the wine is moved by gravity.

Wine aging

Excerpt wine takes from 18 to 22 months in oak barrels, 80% of which are new.

Tasting notes

The wine is a classic ruby ​​color with a purple-violet hue of young wine. Distinctive flavors of Chateau Haut-Brion 2000 are delicate notes of mocha and roasted almonds, which melt in your mouth along with silky tannins. At the end, a long, endless aftertaste awaits you. Bouquet Chateau Haut-Brion 2000 amazes with its abundance: woody notes of well-polished oak, mulberry jam, hints of cherry, blackcurrant and bittersweet mango.
