Harvest time is from September 15th to October 7th.
3% of the juice has been drained and the wine has been aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18-17 months. The traditional clarification with egg white was done to settle the suspended solids in the cask. Two eggs were used per barrel, then the wine was filtered.
The wine has a dark pomegranate color. It has a rich, full taste with firm grainy tannins, fruit tones and earthy nuances in a long aftertaste. The aroma is multifaceted, rich aroma of wine reveals hints of plum jam, chocolate-covered cherries, baked blackberries, pie, anise stars, tapenade and sandalwood.
