Description

Viticulture

Harvest time is from September 15th to October 7th.

Vinification

3% of the juice has been drained and the wine has been aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18-17 months. The traditional clarification with egg white was done to settle the suspended solids in the cask. Two eggs were used per barrel, then the wine was filtered.

Tasting notes

The wine has a dark pomegranate color. It has a rich, full taste with firm grainy tannins, fruit tones and earthy nuances in a long aftertaste. The aroma is multifaceted, rich aroma of wine reveals hints of plum jam, chocolate-covered cherries, baked blackberries, pie, anise stars, tapenade and sandalwood.
