Harvested exclusively by hand. The berries are stacked in special small wooden baskets, which helps to preserve the integrity and freshness of the fruit. The wine is aged 18-22 months in oak barrels, 80% of which are new.
The wine will slowly develop over the course of 8-30 years to fully express its wonderful smoothness and aromatic complexity over the years. The wine is bottled without clarification and filtration.
The wine has a brilliant maroon color. Full-bodied wine has a well-built, juicy taste with a strong structure and velvety tannins. Long aftertaste is decorated with spicy and berry notes. The pure aroma of wine reveals hints of cherries, ripe plums, currants and violets, complemented by nuances of licorice and smoked meats.
