Harvest in boxes mid-September Destemming, crushing and first fermentation in stainless steel vats during 28 days with daily stirring pumping-over
Wine aging
14 months in French oak barrels
Vintage details
The 2015 vintage was productive and of good quality. The high temperatures of May, June, July and August were above the average of the last ten years and caused a slight water stress on the vine. But the heavy rains of June and July eased the vine considerably. As a result, there was a certain risk of diseases that were combated with phytosanitary treatments. The ripening was correct and the harvest was calm and progressive, without interruptions or incidents.
Tasting notes
Cherry tone colour with ruby hues. Straightforward bouquet with concentrated aromas, prominent fresh and slightly juicy red fruits (cherry and redcurrant)
