The 2021 viticultural year was characterized by being hot and dry, showing a year of moderate quantity and good quality. Coming from vineyards from several sub-regions with different types of soils, altitudes and orientations, we tried to present a wine with a unifying character of the various regions. Produced with traditional Douro varieties, including Viosinho, Malvasia Fina, Gouveio, Moscatel Galego and Rabigato.
The maturation phase took place early, which allowed the beginning of the harvest in early September. The grapes were harvested after a rigorous selection in the vineyard and in the cellar, having been pressed at low pressure in order to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of the varieties and a lasting freshness. The must fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel vats in order to maintain the mineral characteristics of the soil and enhance all the aromatic component.
Citrus-colored wine , young and characterized by its aromatic intensity, with mineral notes and an accentuated but balanced acidity. It is voluminous in the mouth and with a long and persistent finish.
