Fermented with some whole cluster and wild yeast, before 10 months ageing in French Oak, of which 25% new.
Will be at its best between now and 2026.
A plush and silky masterpiece on the palate, the 2020 Pencarrow Pinot Noir is not backwards in coming forward. Ripe and rounded, with an admirable structure of ultra-fine tannins, the mid-palate is studded with dark berry fruits, hints of cured meat and smoky complexity. The finish is long and satisfying, revealing further nuance and layers with time in the glass.
