Vinification
In oak vats. Each plot is vinified separately using the most modern techniques, but in the pure Bordeaux tradition.
Wine aging
Barrel ageing: 40% new barrels, 60% one-wine barrels.
Vintage details
As much as the winegrower was battered throughout 2014, the winemaker was happy with these well-sweetened grapes with good fruit aromas and a beautiful phenolic structure. 2014 is certainly a fine vintage, sublimated by an "Indian summer" particularly typical of the fine years of Bordeaux.
Tasting notes
"Aromas of heather and blackberry. The palate is relatively full with crisp tannins, good acidity and a fresh, inviting finish with cedar notes. This is a thoroughly commendable Lalande de Pomerol that should be enjoyable to drink for several years." - Neal MARTIN
