This very old Pineau des Charentes Rosé, made from pure Merlot Noir, have aged for more than 18 years in oak barrels. Its orange color reveals an elegant nose with aromas of Cognac and candied fruit. Its supple and intense mouth reveals notes of cherry jam and prunes. It is aged in 400 liter old Cognac barrels, and prepared for bottling just a few weeks before its release. Only years with good structure are selected for this prolonged aging. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, as a digestive, but will also wonderfully flavor your chocolate desserts as well as a cheese platter, or even with a foie gras.
