The name of the Graves appellation comes from the nature of its terroir: pebbles brought in by the river. This terroir comes from a long and complex history, linked to the birth of the Garonne river, to changes in its route and to successive glacial episodes of the Quaternary era.
Fermentation occurs in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
Ageing starts after the malolactic fermentation, and takes place in concrete vats.
