The grapes are harvested from a plot of 2 hectares with tuff-clay soils on a limestone substrate. The age of the vines ranges from 15 to 50 years. Harvested by hand and gently pressed.
Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in cement tanks using native yeast strains and without temperature control lasts about 4 weeks.
The wine is aged first in barriques (20% new) for 12 months, and then in fudra barrels for 9 months.
Wine storage capacity is 10 years.
The wine is purple-ruby in color. The taste of wine is rich, round, well balanced, with soft tannins, hints of blackcurrant and strawberry and light spicy nuances in a long aftertaste. The bright aroma of wine intertwines shades of black fruits, vanilla, cherries, raspberries, as well as nuances of smoked meats and toast.
