Wines are grown in areas located on the banks of the Gironde, at the foot of two hills with clay-calcareous soils interspersed with gravel.
The average age of the vines reaches 29 years. Harvested by hand in small boxes during the cool morning hours to avoid excessive oxidization of the berries. After careful sorting, the whole bunches are slowly pressed in a pneumatic press at low temperatures. The chilled wort is fermented at a controlled temperature: partly in steel vats (25%) to preserve the freshness and purity of fruit aromas, partly in French oak barrels, a third of which are new, to give the wine complexity and depth.
Extract of wine is carried out in the same containers for 5-6 months with regular batonage.
NOSE: powerful, fruity and delicate with at first fresh citrus fragrances followed by white peach flavors and fresh pears. EYE: pale golden yellow color. PALATE: balanced in between roundness and freshness. It reveals complex and delicate flavors, fine lemon on the attack, followed by crunchy apple and fresh pear and at the end slight oak and iodine notes.
