The grapes are harvested at the end of September by hand, carefully sorted and pressed in horizontal presses with separation of fractions. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats for 25 days.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels (1/3 new) for 12 to 15 months.
The wine has an intense ruby-purple color. The taste of the wine is dense, concentrated, clearly built, with fruity tones, harmonious acidity, fine tannins and a long, velvety aftertaste. Powerful, complex aroma of wine reveals hints of dark berries and fruits, hints of mint and elderberry, shrouded in light smoky nuances.
