Viticulture
Clay-limestone soil; vines 40 years old on average; yield between 35 and 40 hl/ha depending on the year; number of vines per hectare: 5000 . Grape varieties of the vineyard: 80% merlot, 15% cabernet franc, 5% malbec. 100% grassed vineyard
Vinification
it is made from 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec. The production of this product is 6000 bottles per year. Vinification is done without sulphur.
Wine aging
The aging is done only in vats in order to keep the fruit aromas.
Vintage details
A fine vintage, rich in sunshine.
Tasting notes
This wine presents all the codes of good accessible wine, aged only in vats; the fruit is thus largely present, freed from any woody effect. The supple attack, the melted tannins, the beautiful aromatic resonance between fresh fruit and floral notes form a delightful whole, pure and without artifice. Winning simplicity.
